something sweet for a sweet 17th party

Hello dear readers!
Today I'm going to share my "Fresh from the Oven" creations but this time instead of one or two specific pastries I have loads to share with you!

The past week has been one of my busiest weeks with preparing all thing we need to make eclairs, brownies, cupcakes, whoopee pies, decorations and what not for my cousin's sweet 17th party. Not only that but this particular sweet table is coupled with a chocolate fountain as the centrepiece.

I threw my heart into making this the best of my creations and I'm pleased to say that all my handwork paid off as my cousin's family loved the sweet table and so did the guests.

mini eclairs filled with vanilla with a bit of rum & chocolate custard

cupcakes with fondant flowers

green tea whoopie pies

red velvet cupcakes

 fresh strawberry & milk puddings

chocolate lollypops

brownies

the decorations that I made with resin frame; paint it & decorated with some stamps & dies from Papertrey Inks

chocolate fountain & the condiments; fruits, biscuits, marshmallow & my homemade potato donuts.

I'm so excited with this new experience.
Thank you for visiting

Fly your wings

Hello readers!
so happy to share my latest card with a clean & simple design
I used some dies & stamps from PTI that I purchased months ago... and finally I get some chance to create a card with them

There, you can see that I paint the background with some Distress Inks
first time for me to play with watercolor effects... :)

stamped the feathers & sentiments using Memento Luxe ink pads

papers are from primitive cream from MFT,  DCWV & white Neenah

and on to the background of the picture are my vanilla cupcakes with dark chocolate topping, sprinkled with heart sugars... perfect match to the card :)

that's from me today...
hope you have a wonderful summer holiday

fresh from the oven...pull-apart sausage rolls with melted cheese

Hello readers!
So, today I went into the kitchen to bake this pull-apart Sausage Rolls with Melted Cheese.
I thought of this idea from a recent family gathering where I found out that the kids enjoy sausages & cheese so, I decided to combine the two & create this pull-apart sausage rolls & melted cheese.
The individual pieces are bite sized & perfect for a light breakfast or snack.
Once, I gave this to the kids it became an instant favorite due to the unique combination of sausages & melted cheese.

I hope you would enjoy your day as I did, baking.

Thank you for stopping by

fresh from the oven...a family recipe

hello readers!
Today I was in my kitchen baking up some goodies!!
So first off we have some Cheese Buns.

So a little backstory: my mother used to be a baker and she made quite a variety of breads and buns to sell and of course for her kids to eat too. This particular bun, the cheese bun was both a favorite to the customers and the family. My siblings and I grew up waking up to the scrumptious smell of cheese buns. My mother has long retired from baking but this particular bun and it's scrumptious smell has embedded itself in our memories.

In these past few months I've been digging through my memories of helping my mother bake cheese buns in an attempt to recreate it. With a little help from my sister and a few taste tests I was able to recreate the cheese bun.

Next we have the Cinnamon Rolls.

Just recently I found out that during his stay in America the cinnamon rolls quickly became my husband's favorite bread. But sadly here in Surabaya we hardly find anyone who sells cinnamon rolls    and I wanted to be able to make them. So after some trial & error, I finally can bake some  cinnamon roll that fit our tastes and everyone said was delicious. To top that off I sprinkled on some glaze.

yummy....

hope you have a wonderful day

Thank you for visiting

from our kitchen...chicken pies & cookies 'n cream cupcakes

Hello readers, so excited to see you here today..!
it's a parliament election today, so we have a day off work and school.
I decided to do some baking today with my sis and these are some of the things we baked:

 Mini Chicken Pies
We have some chicken(obviously), mushrooms, some of my delicious homemade cream topped off with a nice crispy crust. Perfect for an appetizer or even an afternoon snack.

Cookies n' Cream Cupcakes
This time we have some creamery dough with some crushed cookies and a bit of cream in the mix topped off with a delicious cookies n' cream frosting giving it that extra crunch.
A tempting treat for you and your friends to enjoy anytime of the day.

OK, that's from me today, thank you for visiting

my latest creation...something delicious

Hello readers!
Today has been a busy day for me & my sis. We started receiving orders for cakes a few days ago.
We started baking the cakes today at 9.30 am until 6.00 pm

We also made another cake just for us & I decided to spice things up a bit by adding decorations.

Right now I am extremely tired due to the many hours of baking,
but... I am proud & pleased of what I've made today
