just saying hello...

Hi....

I'm so happy today....
I just finished my card using Magnolia stamps as the images....
and since my first trial with Distress Inks... I found them very fascinating to work with as a coloring for the stamped images.....

To build the scene... I cut the paper to make some bricks.. colored them with Crackle Paints and Distress Ink... and layered them...

"the future belongs to those who believe in their dreams"

hi all....
below are my two scrapbooks of my daughter's certificates...

for the first scrapbook, I made it about a year ago.
Sacca got her certificate as she obtained the best marks for all the main subjects at school....

Rather than keeping it just like that...I made the certificate into a scrapbook... added some pictures to commemorate the event...

Next is the certificate of Sacca's activity during year end holiday......
and I just got the chance to make it last month.....

For both scrapbooks I use some symbols to make them more meaningful....
Blue Ribbon : The Best
Owls : Wisdom
Books & Apple : Knowledge

We hope that when she grows up... she can explore what's the best in hers... believe in what she belief...reach the dreams that she dreams of...
be a person with a loving heart, wisdom and happiness......

Improve each shining hour
And gather honey all the day
From every opening flower

romantic blue....

Hi....I'm back again....
and...I'm going to show my "romantic blue" card that I just finished today....
I made the card at a request by my friend....
It's for her boy friend who is going to have a birthday soon...
Since she has to mail it... I need to make the envelope as well...
Blue was the color requested by her.... and of course it has to be full of love....

Looking at the card..... I also want to keep it for myself.....
(...chuckles...)

It took me some time to finish the layout... since I had to find something to enrich some Chinese impressions....

Sorry for the delay... hope you like it...... :)
